Your Rights as a Parent

At Trinity Weekday Ministries, we believe parents are essential partners in a child’s growth, learning, and safety. As a licensed childcare facility in the State of Texas, we are required to inform you of your rights as the parent or legal guardian of a child enrolled in our program.     You may enter and examine the facility at any time during operating hours without advance notice. This allows you to see your child’s learning environment, classroom setting, and daily activities.

  • 2. Right to Review Facility Records

    You may access any publicly available records, including compliance histories, inspection reports, and licensing information.

  • 3. Right to Receive Inspection Reports

    You will be provided information on how to access our most recent licensing inspection reports and our full online compliance history.

  • 4. Right to Facility Policies and Procedures

    You may request a full copy of our childcare policies, procedures, guidelines, and parent handbook at any time.

  • 5. Right to Review Staff Training Information

    Upon request, you may review:

    - Staff training records

    - Any in-house training curriculum used by Trinity Weekday Ministries

  • 6. Right to Review Your Child’s Records

    You may inspect all written records involving your child’s participation, progress, health information, or behavior as maintained by the facility.

  • 7. Right to View Videos Related to an Incident

    If an incident involving potential abuse or neglect is recorded, you may view the video under the following conditions:

    - The school has the recording

    - You may only view footage involving your child

    - Parents of any other child captured in the video will receive written notice

  • 8. Right to Enforce Court Orders

    If you provide a valid court order restricting another parent or guardian’s access to your child, the school is required to comply.
